How does The Wedding Shortlist benefit engaged couples?

How do you choose which wedding professionals are listed?

As an absolute minimum our verified wedding professionals must have at least three years’ full-time wedding experience and either be a preferred venue supplier and/or have 25+ five-star Google reviews and/or have been a wedding award finalist in the UK in the past 5 years.

In addition we carefully assess wedding professionals against further quality benchmarks – including but not limited to – social media engagement, portfolio strength and price alignment with industry averages. A 75%+ overall score is required to be offered a coveted place on The Wedding Shortlist.

How often is The Wedding Shortlist updated?

We update our listings every six months to ensure our wedding professionals are still actively delivering excellence.

Do engaged couples pay to use The Wedding Shortlist?

No. it’s completely free for couples to browse and connect with our verified wedding professionals.

Do wedding professionals pay to be listed?

Wedding professionals can’t buy their way in. First of all, they are verified in our twice yearly assessment.

A FREE six month listing on The Wedding Shortlist is the reward for the top eight applicants per category for each county. The next highest ranking applicants are offered a six month listing for just £90, with no onward obligation, until we reach our 16 listings per category limit for each county.

Why only up to 16 wedding professionals per category?

Our philosophy is verified quality over quantity. We assess hundreds of wedding professionals and select only the most exceptional AND budget-conscious. By limiting each county’s categories to a maximum of 16, we ensure that every wedding professional featured truly deserves their place. Each of our uncluttered listings include a website link, one photo and a 60 word bio to give you an overview. You can click wedding professionals’ website links for more information on each.

Can I nominate someone for The Wedding Shortlist?
